Penistone market holds a monthly farmers market on the second Saturday of every month.

Local farmers and producers of foods and crafts bring the very best local produce direct to the public.
Buying local produce means that the consumer:
- has fresher food
- knows where the food was produced
- knows how it was produced
- has direct contact with the producer
Buying locally produced:
- helps all the local businesses and communities
- allows direct liaison between producers and end-users
- saves transport costs and cuts pollution
The market is open to all traders selling more than 50% of their own produce and based within a fifty mile radius of Penistone. All stalls are let by pre-booking only. For further information please contact Penistone and District Community Partnership on 01226 766202.
Charges and method of payment
Stalls are currently priced at £10 (cash only) which is payable on the day.
Opening times/ locations
The farmers market is held between 9am and 1pm on the Penistone town market on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
